The Company

A2B Cars Private Hire has been established since 1999, and is based in Watford, Hertfordshire. After being well recognized and established in this industry, A2B are expanding and have brought the business forward with the most modern technology, making us unique in the way we deliver our service. All drivers have PDA and Satellite Navigation systems installed in their cars, enabling us to provide a fast, efficient service to our clients.

Our highly experienced operators will take the job and then it is distributed to the nearest available driver, through our office computer system to the driver's PDA unit in the car. The result is that we are almost unique in having this system implemented out of many companies. We are able to track and locate our drivers at any given time, we can also monitor meters, routes, speed and many other reports. See technical data below.

• The main system we run is Taxi GPRS, a computerized booking and dispatch system with CLI recognition for swift convenient booking of jobs by instantly retrieving customer details including pickup address and previous destinations

• Automated dispatch via variable criteria or manual dispatch.
• Real-time tracking of vehicles.
• Fast address lookup via street name or postcode from a gazetteer of the areas of operation.
• Recording of all journeys, route, speed and cost.
• The system also produces reports for account invoicing and individual driver records.

Our office staff are well trained and experienced, possessing excellent customer service and communication skills again enabling us to provide the absolute best service to our clients.

Our phones are answered promptly and the majority of our work is covered within ten minutes. Where the time constraint is longer we ALWAYS make the client aware that we have no immediate availability thus giving them the option to wait, or giving them another taxi contact number on a recommendation basis. We find this works particularly well with our customers as they really appreciate our honesty and as a result we continue to enjoy repeat business.
